The United Way of 1000 Lakes announced today that Hannah Chesness has joined the team as Community Resource Coordinator.
As Community Resource Coordinator, Chesness will assist the organization’s efforts to increase contributions, workplace partnerships, and support donor and volunteer relationships during the United Way campaign and throughout the year.
“Hannah is a great addition to our team and we’re excited to have her on board,” said Kimberly Brink Smith, United Way of 1000 Lakes executive director. “She brings a fresh perspective to the work of the United Way and is poised to make a difference in our area communities with her dedication to her community and her desire to help those in need.”
A resident of Grand Rapids, Chesness holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from University Of Wisconsin - River Falls. With a background in customer service, public relations, design, and promotion, she is motivated to use her experiences to help those in need and advocate the mission of United Way of 1000 Lakes.
She enjoys boat rides on Pokegama Lake, has a passion for outdoor photography, yoga, playing with her dog Finnegan, and spending time with her husband Steven Chesness.
