United Way works to solve some of our region’s toughest challenges, like homelessness and poverty. They are committed to building a community where people have homes, students graduate, and families are financially stable.
Sidebar: United Way is also pairing the event with a Virtual Challenge to kick start their fundraising efforts. Now through Sept. 7, students, families, friends, and work colleagues can team up and do some good for their community. The challenge is for anyone who wants to have some competitive fun while helping to further impact in the areas of education, income, health. Start a fundraiser today and help provide struggling children with positive mentors; connect Veteran’s and others with mental health and supportive services; and connect families with the crisis services they need to get back on their feet. Individuals raising $100 or more receive a free run entry. Plus, additional prizes awarded to top fundraisers.
